have not physically spoke with Russ in some time but somehow we always seemed to "talk" without even seeing one another ..worked for this great guy for just shy of 9 years at his store. will miss him for all he had taught me in them years .....Russell (RJ) Johnson ...RIP buddy
Dear Lynn, This goes back a long time. Russ and Bill (husband Bill-deceased) were good friends from the Davenport days. Also, it was always wonderful to stop in at your office supply store to chat. So sorry to be told about Russ' (from my daughter in Grand Haven (Mary TenCate) death. Not knowing about Russ' failing health- it was a real shock to be told! I will be thinking about you in the next weeks and especially during Russ' memorial service on Aug. 2. Russ was a delightful, wonderful man!

I used to work at Story & Clark Piano Company. We purchased all our office supplies from "The Office Supply Center". I used to stop in frequently to purchase and order supplies. Always enjoyed my visits with Russ & Lynn. I even won a contest one year - a cooler with a built in radio!
My deepest sympathy to Lynn & family.

Lynn and Family,
So sorry to hear about Russ. Remember your family growing up in the neighborhood, and the various projects Russ was always doing.
Also enjoyed our visits in the store with you and Russ. It was never a quick trip in to pick up supplies. Had to visit awhile.
