Russell Lee Moore's Obituary
Russell L. Moore, “Uncle Russ”, passed away November 10, 2022, in Muskegon. He was born September 7, 1944, in Benzie County to Ira and Pansy (Moore) Moore and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. Russ was an auto body repairman, working for different body shops in Muskegon. He loved working in his yard, riding his Harley, and socializing at 46. Survivors include his significant other, Mary Vanderlaan; two children: Russell L. (Debbi) Moore, Jr., and Laura Wheeler; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one brother: Ron (Faye) Moore; two sisters: Carolyn (Bert) Jackson, and Phidelia Brow. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Dallas Moore. Visitation with the Moore family will be Sunday, November 13, from 6-8 PM at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
