Russell Peacock's Obituary
Russell Peacock transitioned peacefully to eternal life on March 6, 2019 in the mist of his loved ones.
He was born on December 14, 1931 in Preston, Mississippi and was preceded in death by his parents, Gennie and Lula Peacock, and 11 siblings.
Russell was the beloved husband of Eva Hutcherson Peacock of 44 years and to this union one daughter was born. As a devoted husband and family man, Russell also served his country during the Korean War. He was one of three survivors of his unit returning from combat a war hero.
Russell retired after 33 years of service from General Motors in Norwood, Ohio.
Russ was actively involved as a 33rd degree Mason and Shriner. He strongly believed in a penny earned is a penny saved, as he was a hard worker. He would offer a helping hand to those in need. Russell also traveled with his wife to many family reunions and Mason & Shriners events throughout the United States.
To cherish his memories, Russell leaves behind his beloved wife, Eva of Cincinnati, Ohio; daughter, Rowanda (Trevor) Williams of Columbus, Ohio; son, Douglas Peacock of Muskegon, Michigan; grandchildren, Veronica (Corry) Claxton and Brandon Cole of Cincinnati, Ohio and Madison and Mikayla Williams of Columbus, Ohio; a loving niece, Katherine Patterson; and a host of family and friends.
