Mrs. Ruth E. (Wagner) Hogston's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Evangeline (Wagner) Hogston, 94, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born April 28, 1921 to Joseph and Helga (Nordwick) Borgeson in Muskegon, and lived most of her life here. She had been the Office Manager for Drs. Hogan and Dickinson, and was a lifelong member of Forest Park Covenant Church. In 1942 Ruth married John A. Wagner and he preceded her in death in 1997. She later married Robert Hogston and he preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Marcia (Timothy) Dobb, Mary (James) Moyes, Nancy (Douglas) Alexander; 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Elaine and Orel Borgeson. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law Jim Johnson in 1987, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. A service celebrating Ruth’s life will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, February 27, at Forest Park Covenant Church. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service.
