Mrs. Ruth Arlene Gurn's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Arlene Gurn, age 95, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 at a local nursing home. Ruth was born October 28, 1921 to Albert and Mabel (Wood) Hazelbrook in Madison, WI. On June 15, 1942, she married Raymond W. Gurn and he preceded her in death on September 7, 2013. Ruth is survived by her children, Thomas (Sandra) Gurn of Long View, Texas and Toni Rae (Tom Clarke) Gurn of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Clarke; sister-in-law, Barb Hazelbrook; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son, William, in 1953; her brother, Earl Hazelbrook and sister, Dorothy Anderson. In accordance with her wishes, private family services are planned.
