Ruth Arlene Heimann's Obituary
Ruth Arlene Heimann, age 96, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice. She was born June 12, 1928 in Muskegon to George and Hazel (Linstrom) Pulsifer and lived her entire life in the area. Ruth married Benjamin F. Heimann on June 3, 1950 and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1995. Prior to her retirement in 1996, Ruth worked as head lab technician for Stokely-VanKamp Canning Factory for 20 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she participated in the Christmas Walk for many years. She was also active with the TTCM Happy Wanderers for 48 years. Ruth had been a member of VFW #3734 Women’s Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include 4 children, Charles (Carole) Heimann, Linda (Mike) Hardenburgh, Laurie (Joe) Wilson, Michael Heimann; and 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and 6 siblings. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Rd, Muskegon, MI 49441, with Rev. Paul Appold and Rev. Dennis Lassanske officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Memorial and Endowment Fund.
