Ruth Ann Levendosky's Obituary
Ruth Ann Levendosky left this world on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at age 66 after a short battle with cancer. Ruth was born on February 16, 1952 to Agnes and Alfred Bouma. She worked for Hackley Hospital for almost 15 years. She then left to pursue her true passion as a childcare provider. Ruth helped shape the lives of many children and provided them with as much love as she did her own children. Ruth always loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her adored husband. Whether it was a day at the pool, watching a movie, bowling, musicals, art fairs, trips to casinos, Vegas or a family game of cards, complete with her homemade hamburger pizza. Ruth had a true zest for life. There was no bucket list for Ruth. She had everything she wanted and did everything she loved. She was beautiful inside and out, charismatic, compassionate, thoughtful and always made sure to let you know how much she loved you. Ruth is survived by her husband of 34 years, Stan, Daughter Heather Strach (Steve), Son Eric Storck (Mayra), Daughter Lindsay Hiller (Zach), Son David Levendosky, three grandchildren Laticia, Diego and Derek Storck, very special sister Karen Christensen, niece Beth Johnson, nephew Craig Christensen, spoiled rotten Chihuahua Chloe, as well as her best friend Tina Finkler. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Dave Christensen. Ruth will be deeply missed by all who loved her, which was everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100.Feel free to keep up to date with service information and to share a memory with the family at www.sytsemafh.com
