I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Moe. I was just one of her many students. She gave me the bug for writing, and Ive kept journals for many years. Youve got great memories of her.

Steve that was a beautiful tribute to your Mom. Thank you for sharing. My condolences to you, Tammy, Sandy, Dan, and to your children and grandchildren. Ruth was a very special person. She was one of the first to welcome us to the neighborhood back in 1983. Ruth and Glen were both very friendly and did everything they could to make us a part of the neighborhood. Back when 40th Ave. was still a dirt road I'm sure there was a worn path between our house and Ruth's with the kids traveling back and forth. I know Ruth taught herself to play piano and many years ago she gave me her old piano so I could also teach myself to play. Well that old piano is long gone but I think of Ruth often as I'm still working on learning how to play the piano. My prayers are with all of you and I'm sending big hugs as well. I know I'll be taking out photo memories of Ruth and the entire family as I still walk down that old dirt road as often as I can. May God Bless your family.
So Sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Ruth and Glen were such great friends with my parents, John & Faye. I will always remember the four of them playing pinochle for hours...while the kids, Sandy, Steve and my brothers and sisters played outside. Also going camping to a place up north at "The Big Tree".
Im sorry for your loss. Mrs. Moe was a favorite teacher of mine. I know you have already gtieved your mom do to health and then COVID lockdowns. As you now adjust to her passing I pray God grants you a peace and comfort that carries you through this time.
SO sorry for the passing of Ruth. She was a great lady.
What wonderful memories of your mother you have shared. I am one of those 4th grade students. I also remember her through our time at the First Reformed Church years ago and of course the poppy sales and marching with the auxiliary in Ravenna parades. She shared her talents for sure. My condolences to your family.
Hi Steve, Tami, Sandy and Dan and families, Our prayers are with you. You have our deepest sympathy with the loss of your mother.
