Ruth E. Moseler's Obituary
Ruth Eleanore Moseler, Age 92, of Muskegon passed away in peace on February 22, 2020.
She was born in Mesick, MI on September 9, 1927 to Winfred and Anna (Wirtz) Jewett. She married Jack Joseph Moseler on November 2, 1946 in Muskegon and enjoyed 42 years before Jack’s passing March 7, 1989. Ruth is also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wayne and Tom Jewett; sisters, Loretta Elliott, Waneta Gentry, Dorothy Compton, and Laura Posthumus; in-laws, Joe Middlecamp, Don Posthumus, Cliff Elliott, Myrt Gentry, and Carol Jewett.
Ruth is survived by her daughters, Marie (Ben) Malenfant and Carol (Barry) Medendorp; sister, Lola Middlecamp and sister-in-law, Sally Jewett; five grandchildren, Vince (Dee) Malenfant, Mary (Rick) Wagner, Bernadette (Alex Barker) Malenfant, Barry (Jessie) Medendorp, and April Medendorp; 13 great-grandchildren, Lindsay, Nikki, Jessie, Robert, Jack, Andrew, Andy, KaTrena, Aaron, Sullivan, Mathias, Barry, Tara and 11 great-great, grandchildren Renee, Savannah, Emmett, Malia, Benny, Emma, Uriah, Alice, Palmer, Gibson and Collin.
Ruth worked at Tekmold in Muskegon until she retired and attended Cloverville Baptist Church. Ruth enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. She had a green thumb and shared that with her Sanctuary at McAuley friends.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 with visitation one hour prior. Services will be officiated by Pastor John Karvonen and Pastor Jeff Jabrocki. MEMORIALS can be directed Cloverville Baptist Church, Sanctuary at McAuley Activity Fund or the Harbor Hospice Foundation. BURIAL will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
