Mrs. Ruth S. Mulder's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth S. Mulder, 91, passed away Monday afternoon, December 19, 2016 at her home. She was born August 29, 1925 to Peter and Ethel (Sluis) Slager in Chicago, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. Ruth had worked as a Registered Nurse and was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church. She loved bird watching, traveling and playing tennis. On April 24, 1945 Ruth married Dr. Lambertus Mulder, and he preceded her in death on April 29, 1998. SURVIVORS include her children, Joel D. Mulder, Stephen D. (Beth) Mulder, Sally Ann (Melvin) Mow, Donald P. (Judy) Mulder, and Phillip M. Mulder DDS; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ruth was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother. A family gathering and memorial service will be held later. Burial will take place in the Dutton Cemetery in Caledonia. You may visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
