Mrs. Ruth M. Sparrow's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth M. Sparrow, age 82, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013. She was born June 13, 1930 in Fremont, MI to William and Agnes (Pettis-Brown) Cavanaugh. Ruth worked for Muskegon Piston Ring and for Motorola in Chicago for many years before starting her family. On November 12, 1948 she married Thomas M. Sparrow and he preceded her in death on February 19, 2000. She was an avid gardener and also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. SURVIVORS include 13 children, Sheryl (Mike) Cody, Rickey Sparrow, Kathy (Garry) Southard, Kevin Sparrow, Kenneth (Pam) Caswell, Brian (MaryBeth) Sparrow, Gary Sparrow, Brent (Andy Hernandez) Caswell, Mark (Kevin Stafford) Sparrow, Vicki (Lee) Buozis, Tonya (Kevin) Stewart, Chris (Angela) Sparrow, Robert (Roni) Sparrow; 29 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Betty (Marvin) Erb. She was also preceded in death by sons, Bruce and Guy Sparrow; grandson, Clint Sparrow; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S.
