Ruth Ann Conner's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth Ann Conner, age 55, died unexpectedly Saturday morning, December 11, 2010, at her home. She was born February 19, 1955 in Muskegon to Delbert A. and Ruth G. (Schmiedeknecht) Bean and had been a life resident of the area. Ruth had been an accountant and bookkeeper for various firms and with her husband Bruce had been the primary care-givers for her in-laws, Notie and Richard Conner. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; and is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bruce; daughter, Shelly (Syers) and husband Joe Deblock; granddaughter, Chelsea Deblock;her mother, Ruth (Bean) Bodell and husband Roy; sister, Vicky Bean, brothers, Tom Bean, Steve Bean, Tim Bean and Scott Hoos and by her sister-in-law, Sharon Conner. Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Delbert A., her brother, Delbert “Chuck” and by her father and mother-in-law, Notie and Richard. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1PM Wednesday at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church (1568 Giles Rd.) with Rev. Dr. Sherwin Brantsen officiating. VISITATION with Ruth’s family will be 6-8PM Tuesday at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442, (231-726-5210).
