Mrs. Ruth C. Kring, age 70, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, February 4, 2007. She was born April 27, 1936 in Levering, MI to John and Violet (Riddle) Visger and had been a Whitehall resident most of her adult life. Mrs. K Read Obituary

I last talked with Ruth at our class 50th reunion, the class of 1954, Whitehall MI.
We had a wonderful conversation, as we shared our love for Christ, and our Christian pilgrimage thus far.

Dear Uncle Rich, Marjorie, Mark, Mike, Mitch, Kathy, and families,
I have been so blessed to have had Aunt Ruth as part of my family. She always extended herself to me with love and kindness.
Growing up I remember the family dinners the times she would have me over to stay for a few days. Her loving my dad as only a sister could. What a generous and loving person to our family.
God has truly blessed us with her life as a part of ours. I will miss her very much.
May God bring you comfort and peace as only he can give.

My deepest sympathies to all of Ruth's family. I got to know her quite well from working with her for most of her 26 years at Whitehall Elem. School. She was a unique, fun-loving, and compassionate person. Her death will have far reaching effects on all the lives she touched.

Dear Uncle Rich and Family,
We were so saddened to learn of Aunt Ruth's passing. I only have sweet and fun-filled memories of time with you and her. That last time in Albuquerque(2000), Aunt Ruth was the same happy, caring person that I remember as a child. She was a GIFT from the Lord to our family. I remember with fondness the long summer days during the summer of 1973 when Mrs. Kring made sure that Mark and I completed our assigned Bible studies so we would make our confirmation date in the fall class. Mark and I would be seated at the kitchen table so we would be close at her hand in the case we needed redirection. She also made sure that we were always well fed. I remember the cookies that she made for us. She probably had a good idea that it wasn’t how we hoped to spend a few weeks of our summer. I will always remember her kindness and gentle smile.
