Ruth I. Velasquez's Obituary
Mrs. Ruth I. (Yarbrough-Ward) Velasquez, age 72, passed away Wednesday morning, December 6, 2006 in Muskegon. She was born July 31, 1934 to Albert and Frances (Maxim) Yarbrough in Morrison, IL, and lived in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Ruth worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant for private home care in Muskegon. On March 23, 1994 she married Efren Velasquez. SURVIVORS include her husband Efren of Muskegon; 3 children, Diane Ward of Norton Shores, Larry (Debra) Ward of Naples, FL, David (Rhonda) Ward of Ravenna; 6 grandchildren, Brandi Ward, Brooke (Joel) Samms, Scott Ward, Joshua Ward, Jacob Ward, Jennifer Ward; 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler and Haley Samms; 1 brother, Paul (Jeanette) Yarbrough of Fruitport; 2 sisters, Verle Johnson of Seattle, WA, Ruby Ward of Muskegon.
