I remember when we would always mess with the other kids on the bus and there was this one kid in particular who’s name is Colten and we would mess with him all the time and it was always so funny laughing with him and making jokes with him.
I went to youth group with Rylen, and I promise you, I didn't always want to be there. But his energy and joy made me feel a little more each time. I wasn't exactly friends with him, but I knew his mom and brother. He was always a light and truly showed his love for God in everything he did. I know he's up in heaven living his best life playing basketball and nine-square.
i met him once at a wedding and i was feeling nervous but his energy made me comfortable and he was so polite.
When Rylan and another friend were having lunch at school we were playing a game where we yell and the other person gets louder and that was the last thing I did with him and would have made it more memorable if I knew this was going to happen

Rylen was a genuinely kind and likeable kid. Every day he would make all of us on the bus break out in laughter due to his funny personality and comments. He always had such a bright energy radiating off of him, it was difficult not to notice him and the way he carried himself. He was a grade lower than me, but myself as well as many of my classmates knew and cared about him. Many of us hold very fond memories of Rylen. His influence went not only throughout the middle school, but the high school too. He had a beautiful heart and such a well put together and bright personality that will be missed by so many. My dearest condolences go out to the Yager family. 🕊️🤍
