Sadie R. Jeske's Obituary
Sadie Ruth Jeske, age 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Grand Haven, MI. She was born July 16, 1924, in Spring Lake, MI to Harry and Alice (Ruiter) Bramer. Sadie spent her entire life in the Spring Lake area and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and baking delicious treats. She was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and liked watching golf, even though she was not a golfer. On September 9, 1948, she married the love of her life, Donald Jeske. They loved to travel together, especially spending their winters in Stuart, FL.
Sadie will be greatly missed by her son, Roger (Millie) Jeske; daughter, Debra DeGram; grandchildren, Tonya (Ken) Barry, Keith (Tiffany) Jeske, Kerri DeGram, Seth DeGram and Joanne Wooldridge; 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Sadie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; grandson, Joshua; sister, Fannie Bosch; and brother, Lawrence Bramer. A FUNERAL SERVICE will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church (527 Taylor Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417) with Pastor Bill Cate officiating. VISITATION with the family will take place 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS in memory of Sadie can be made to Lakeshore Assisted Living and St. John’s Lutheran Church.
