Sally Ann Schuelke's Obituary
Mrs. Sally Ann Schuelke, age 89, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Poppen Residence. She was born in Muskegon on July 9, 1927 to Benjamin and Nina (Pringle) Salisbury and was a life resident of the area. Sally married James Krauss in 1954, and he died in 1956. In 1960, she married Marcus Schuelke, and he died in 1998. Also, preceding her in death were her parents; her step-father, Irwin Swanson; her brother, Jimmy Salisbury; her twin sister, Marva Petty, sister, Jaqueline DeVries and two brothers-in-law. Sally is survived by nephew, James (Cynthia) VanderMolen; nieces, Jan (Jerome) Koval and Nina Broek both of Muskegon; and Sheila (Ken) Clark of Leesburg, Virginia; along with several other nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her special friend, Al Schmidt. The family would like to send a special thanks for all of the kindness and care given by the staff at Day Spring Assisted Living. She will be laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery with a private graveside service. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100.
