I knew Sally from Thursday night bowling at Sherman Lanes. I always enjoyed it when our two teams competed against each other. She was always alot of fun and made the night enjoyable. I saw Sally about 2 months ago at Russ's. On the way out, I went to her table, slid in and talked with her for a while. She told me about her mom passing, and it saddened me. She had brought her mom with her quite a few of the Thursday nights, and watched over her and bowled at the same time. She was always so patient and loving with her. Sally said that she thought she was getting better and actually beating the cancer odds. I was hoping she had years and years in front of her, but that was not to be.
