Mr. Sam Melvin Betts, age 79, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in North Muskegon. He was born on December 31, 1943 to John and Clara (Oliver) Betts in Oxford, MS. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00PM, Monday, May 8, 2023 at Tabernacle Church of God, 614 E. River Rd., Muskegon, 49445 with Pastor Destiny Owens officiating. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service, from 11:00AM – 12:00PM. Burial to take place at Mona View Cemetery. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
