Samantha M. Cole's Obituary
Mrs. Samantha Marie Cole, age 41, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 after a courageous fight against cancer. She was born on July 12, 1977 in Ludington, Michigan. Sam graduated from Oakridge High School, class of 1995, and had worked for many years as a home health aide. She enjoyed fishing, water parks, and amusement parks. Most importantly, Sam was a loving and devoted mother. She cherished time spent with her children, especially swimming and attending their many activities. On December 31, 2008, Sam married William “Mark” Cole and he survives her along with four children, Jordan Youman, Tyler Cole, Payden Cole, and Raylan Cole; step-children, Stephanie Cole and Mark Cole; parents, Herb and June Jourden; siblings, Mary Drake, Sherrie (Jim) Berghuis, Dawn (Allen) Honeycutt, Donald (Tina) Hampton, Jonathon VandenBrick; many nieces and nephews; and her mother, Bonnie Thompson. She was preceded in death by her aunt, Verna Berghuis; uncle, Art Jourden; and niece, Baylee Sikkenga. SERVICES for Samantha will be PRIVATE.
