Samuel Coyle's Obituary
Samuel Coyle, age 84, of Grand Haven passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Robbinswood Assisted Living Center. He was born November 6, 1934, in Grand Haven to Patrick and Esther (Ellis) Coyle, and married Janet Patricia Ebel on June 19, 1965. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2000.
Sam served his country in the Army, was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church. He retired from Ryder (Duthler Ford) Trucking in 2002. Sam enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering in his garage, working in his garden, building bird houses, as well as feeding and watching the birds.
He is lovingly remembered by his son, Mike Coyle of Grand Haven; and his sister, Anne Parchert of West Olive. He was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Ricksgers, and brother, Edward Coyle.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019, at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Schwartz as celebrant. Military honors will be provided by the Sgt. Alvin Jonker V.F.W. Post # 2326. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the mass at church.
