Sandra Joy "Sandy" Bee's Obituary
Sandra Joy “Sandy” Bee, age 87, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023, in Muskegon, MI. She was born September 21, 1936, in Muskegon, MI, to Clifford and Marcella (Gerber) Bee. She graduated from Sturgis High School and then went on to Michigan State University to receive her Bachelor’s Degree and then the University of Michigan, where she received a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Sandy devoted over 30 years of providing guidance and compassionate care in the field of social work for various organizations and retired from the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District.
Sandy enjoyed reading a good book, dabbling in real estate, and watching collegiate sports, especially basketball and football. She also liked to watch cooking shows and bring those learned skills into her own kitchen. She loved to spend time at the cottage on Big Star Lake and had a special bond with her dogs Casey and Corey.
Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Robert Bee, Christopher (Nicole) Bee and Nicki Bee (Nick) Cole and Grey Cole; sister, Susan (Leonard) Munch; brothers, Dr. Clifford (Mary) Bee and Thomas Bee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Timothy Bee; and sister-in-law, Kim Bee.
A PRIVATE SERVICE will be held. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS in Sandy’s honor may be directed to Noah Project, Pound Puppies or Harbor Humane Society.
