Sandra J. Bliss' Obituary
Sandra Jean Bliss, age 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023. She was born on March 18, 1938 to Leo and Lillian (Dalquist) Taylor in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Sandy worked at Muskegon Community College for 26 years in the records office and as a switchboard operator. Sandy was able to escape cold Michigan winters by enjoying the warm sunshine on the 18 incredible cruises around the southern United States and Central America countries she went on. In the summers, Sandy could always be found tending to her beautiful flower gardens at home or spending time down at Lake Michigan. Sandy will be remembered by her children, Christopher Bliss Jr, Susan (Raymond) Olson, Scott Bliss, Cindy (Doug) Seekman, and Brian Bliss; grandchildren, Jennifer Fletcher and Stephen Glavon, Andrew (Brittney) Olson and Sarah (Josh) Bishop, Brandon Bliss and Devin Bliss, Ashley Seekman and Adam Seekman, and Shawn Bliss; five great-grandchildren; brother, Dave Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Bruce Taylor. A Private Family Celebration of Life will be held.
