Mrs. Sandra Lynn Detty's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Lynn Detty, age 53, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 11, 2014 at her home in Muskegon. She was born in Pomona, CA on October 1, 1960 to John J. and Gertrude A. (Halicki) Sadowski and had lived in Muskegon for the past 12 years. Sandra had worked as a registered nurse. She loved sewing, crafting, unicorns, riding motorcycles, and most importantly, helping others, especially children. She is survived by her two step-children, Jonathan Detty and Jennifer (Jeff) Kagay; five grandchildren; one brother, David Sadowski and three sisters, Linda (Archie Castillo) Anderson, Annete (Elwin) Amrheim and Lauri Sadowski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donn Justice Detty; her parents; and one sister, Janet Longe. A private family service will be held at a later date. Sandra will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
