Mrs. Sandra K. Glomb's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra K. Glomb, age 76, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at her home in Fruitport. She was born in Fruitport on December 14, 1937 to Walter and Beatrice (Sellers) Courtright and was a life resident of the area. Mrs. Glomb lived for her family and was especially proud of her great-grandson, Zayden. She looked forward to the annual Glomb Family chili cook off and hayride for the grandkids hosted at her home, and a chance to earn her name on the prized silver spoon. She enjoyed swimming and spending time around her pool. Mrs. Glomb attended St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. On July 1, 1978, she married Charles E. “Skip” Glomb and he survives her along with six children, Tamara (Zane) Storey, Toni (Rick) Pierce, Dennis (Betsy) Glomb, Mark (Chris) Mrozinski-Dietz, Christine (Rick) Wolff and Mary (Randy) Mrozinski; 17 grandchildren, Britten, Whitney, Emily, Collin, Adam, Samantha, Rachael, Rebecca, Andrew, Angela (Derrick), Jessica, Casey, Miranda, Gavin, Nathan, Kaylee and Charlie; two great-grandsons, Zayden and Turner; one brother, Michael Courtright and her dear friend, Joan Gray. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Courtright, Beatice Sellers-Courtright and Marie Courtright and two sons, Randy and Patrick Mrozinski. In accordance to Sandra’s wishes, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
