Sandra J. Krol's Obituary
Sandra June Krol, age 71, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at her home in Muskegon, MI, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Sandy was born on November 3, 1953, to Walter and Gladys (Roper) Krol in Muskegon. She graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1971 and spent her whole life in the area. Sandy worked as a secretary at various locations over the years, including for Great Lakes Business Forms, Muskegon Townhouses/Oakwood Village, and Barclay Village.
Sandy was an active member of the Lithuanian Club and was a talented pool shark. She was a social butterfly and was able to have a conversation with anyone. She took great pride in maintaining her yard and swimming pool, and she greatly enjoyed her weekly visits sharing wine with her BFF Donna and loving sister Paulette. She was a beautiful woman who always took care to make sure she was presentable and had her hair done. She was stubborn and feisty to the very end, but was a loving and caring woman who was always supportive of her loved ones, especially her daughter.
Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Shelby (Garrett Atchison) Krol-Schippers; a soon to arrive granddaughter, Kinsey June; two siblings: David Krol and Paulette Mines; best friend of 53 years, Donna Cross; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Krol; sister, Debbie (Steve) Dixon; and two siblings in-law: Judy Krol and James Mines.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held for Sandy from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Lithuanian Club, 2152 9th St, Muskegon, MI, 49444. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the caring staff of Interim Home Care for the wonderful care that they gave to Sandy over the last five years. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interim Hospice. Please sign the family’s online guestbook and share memories at https://sytsemafh.com
