Sandra Kay Lewis' Obituary
Sandra Kay Lewis, age 75, of Grand Haven passed away Monday, November 20, 2017, at home. She was born January 1, 1942, in Muskegon to John Flecher and Florence (Arboghast) Lockard, and she married Marvin Lee Lewis on March 15, 1958, at the Salvation Army Church in Grand Haven.
Sandra loved doing crafts, gardening, taking on any kind of home improvement project, and teaching her boys how to do these projects. Her other interests were watching Days of our Lives, Hallmark Christmas movies, but most of all, spending time with her family.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Marvin Lee Lewis of Grand Haven; four sons: Marvin James (Janet) Lewis of Muskegon, Thomas (Vicki) Lewis of Muskegon, John Lewis of Grand Haven, and Jeff (Jodi) Lewis of Grand Rapids; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Marge Newton of Spring Lake; and her brother, John Lockard of Muskegon. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Mark Lewis in 1962; two sisters, Barbara Stillson and Janet Woriol; and one brother, Gary Lockard.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2017, at Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services-The Spring Lake Chapel with Col. Thomas Lewis officiating. Friends may meet the family 3-6 p.m. Sunday, November 26, at The Spring Lake Chapel. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Harbor Hospice are appreciated.
