Sandra K. (Baushke) Magner's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Kay (Baushke) Magner, age 66, passed away suddenly Thursday, July 3, 2014. She was born August 26, 1947 in Muskegon and was a graduate of Muskegon High School. She married Herbert W. Baushke, Sr. on November 17, 1967. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1994. Later, on June 13, 1998, she married Theodore Magner and he preceded her in death on July 8, 2002. Sandy was employed as a Medical Records Clerk for Mercy General Health Partners for 35 years until her retirement in 2011. She was a member and Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed reading and writing poetry, crochet and knitting. She is survived by her children, Teresa (James) Wilson of White Cloud, Herbert (Brenda) Baushke of Ravenna and John (Brandi) Baushke of Muskegon; step-children, Eric (Amy) Magner, Andy (Liz) Magner, Mark (Teresa) Magner and Joe Magner all of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Florence Marvin and Patsy Vogelsong both of Muskegon; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Marie Vogelsong; 2 brothers, Leroy and Robert Vogelsong. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Tuesday, 1:30 p.m., July 8, 2014 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210, Rev. Burt Wachter officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
