Sandra K. "Sandy" McGraw's Obituary
Sandra K. “Sandy” McGraw, age 78, met her Lord and Savior early Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was born on December 4, 1942 to Russell and Lillie (Conran) Drake in Muskegon, MI and has lived in this area all of her life. She was a faithful servant of Our Lord and Savior and was a long-time member of City Heart Ministries, formerly known as Hope Light Church. She married Lowell McGraw on January 10, 1997 in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 24 years of marriage filled with love and laughter. She was a proud mother, loving nothing more than being a mom and taking care of her 7 children. Sandy also enjoyed singing. She was known as a warm and loving woman who was always putting others first. Her happy and selfless personality will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving children, Stanley (Kathy) Tyler Jr., Ronald (Joyce) Tyler, Donald (Katherine) Tyler, Ellen Stark, James Tyler, Steven Tyler, and Christopher (Christina) Tyler; 2 stepchildren, Rod (Amy) McGraw and Christina (Terry) Woodard; 25 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Joe (Dixie) Drake and Steve (Thelma) Drake; sister-in-law, Patricia Drake; and chosen sister, Eva. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Irene Jensen; brother, Russ Drake; infant brother, James Drake; father of her children, Stanley Tyler Sr.; stepson, Scott McGraw; daughter-in-law, Sandy Tyler; and son-in-law, Fred Stark. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the City Heart Ministries Church, 2640 Peck St., Muskegon Heights, MI 49444 with a luncheon to follow. A visitation with the family will be one-hour prior at church. Sandra will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions in Sandra’s honor can be made direct to Harbor Hospice.
