Sandra "Sue" Lasser's Obituary
Sandra “Sue” Lasser, age 81, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2024 in Grand Haven. She was born on March 14, 1943 in Muskegon to Charles N. and Anna Pearl (Abercrombie) Malsberry, and was a lifelong resident of the area. On May 9, 1964, Sue married Richard Lasser and he preceded her in death on November 27, 1997. SURVIVORS include two daughters, Deborah (Dean) Kemp of Whitehall and Janice (Paul) Bialik; “Granny’s Grandchildren”, Mason (Sami) Bialik, Audra Bialik, Clayton Kemp and Morgan Kemp; god-child, Stacey (Chris) Huff; and many special nieces and nephews. Sue was also preceded in death by her brothers, Donnie Malsberry and James Malsberry; and sisters, Anita Ferguson and Ruth Ann Heaton. Sue worked at Great Lakes Ford for 18 years, prior to retiring in 2007. She was a past member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Muskegon and belonged to the Polish Union. Sue enjoyed collecting bells, miniature roosters and penguins. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. Private family services will be held. A Celebration of Sue’s Life for friends and family will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Polish Union Lodge (1890 Henry St.).
