Sandra F. Szot's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Fay Szot, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Muskegon, surrounded by family, on Monday, February 24, 2025. She was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on July 27, 1943. Sandy was employed by American Coil Spring and ADAC prior to her retirement in 2008. While employed at American Coil Spring, Sandy met Wayne A. Szot and they were married on July 29, 1985. Every year on their anniversary, Sandy and Wayne would spend a long weekend at one of their favorite destinations, St. Ignace, Michigan. She enjoyed gardening and trips to different casinos. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Wayne A. Szot; four children, Ron Buechele, Robert (Debra) Buechele, Sharron Pennell, and Sammatha (Steve) Shugars; grandchildren, Aaron Buechele, Ryan Buechele, Nick Pennell, Sarah Pennell, Morgan (Zach) Axline, Kenadee (Tim) Blackmer, and Samuel Shugars; four great-grandchildren, Evelynn, Addison, Kennedy, and Lincoln; special niece, Alice Pierce; and beloved grand-dog, Ruby. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Maxine (Grace) Nelson; step-son, Wayne A. Szot II, and six siblings, Lucille Shrader, Nina Neu, Deloris Luther, Francis Castillo, Edward Blanton, Jack Blanton, and Lola Gibbs.
