Mrs. Sandra L. "Sandy" Tuori's Obituary
Mrs. Sandra L."Sandy” Tuori, age 72, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 in the company of her loving family. Sandy was born on June 17, 1941 to Bert and Lillian (Sukup) Taulbee in Muskegon, MI. She was a devoted sports fan—always cheering on the Michigan State Spartans and Detroit Tigers—and an avid reader, who especially enjoyed reading a good book in the warmth of the sun. Sandy was also an incredibly loved mother, wife, aunt, and grandmother, who will forever live in the hearts of Tom Tuori and their three children: Tom Jr. (Mary Jo), Jeff (Margaret), and Eric (Jocelyn); mother, Lillian; grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany, Nicholas, Bayleigh, Catie, Zach, and Sam; sister-in-law, Nancy Weller of Grand Rapids; brother-in-law, Chuck (Marilyn) Tuori of Germantown, MD; as well as her nieces and nephews. SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100, with Rev. Timothy VanderHaar officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 5-7 PM Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice.
