Mrs. Sandra Marie Wolffis' Obituary
Mrs. Sandra Marie (Johnson) Wolffis, age 79, passed away Friday afternoon, September 22, 2017 in Muskegon. She was born September 22, 1938 to Herbert V. and Florence V. (Anderson) Johnson in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Sandie was a longtime member of Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church, and had been a self-employed licensed daycare provider for 30 years before retiring in 1996. She was known to the many children she took care of as “Aunt Sandie”. On June 4, 1960, she married Alan Wolffis, and he survives her along with 3 children, Alana Wolffis, Victor (Nancy) Wolffis, Mark (Janet) Wolffis; 9 grandchildren, Chelsea (Ben) VanBiesbrouck, Hillary (Joey) Saladino, Justin Baker, Nolan Wolffis, Grant Wolffis, Nicole Wolffis, Abbie Wolffis, Carlie (Ben) Honeycutt and Morgan Wolffis; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Brenda White. Sandie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Herbert V. Johnson, Jr. Visitation at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 will be from 6-8 pm Monday. A private family service will be held later. Burial will take place at Fruitland Twp. Cemetery. You may visit the family’s online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com.
