Our Family sadly just learned of Sarah's death this evening and are sincerely extending our Families condolences to Sarah's husband, Bryan, son's Brody and Bennett, her parent's Rick and Patty and her brother, Ricky and to all of Sarah's extended Family, Relatives and Friends. Our hearts are hurting for you all during this very difficult time.
Sarah was a very special young lady and will be greatly missed by so many of us who were blessed to see her grow up here in her Hometown/Community of Lakeville, MN.
Sarah was a very devoted sister and daughter who faithfully was her brother's greatest cheerleader to most of his Lakeville Baseball Games. We were blessed and fortunate to share many wonderful and great memories together over the years as we attended many games and Tournaments together with all of our Families. Our son BJ graduated from Lakeville Senior High School with Ricky in 2004. BJ and Ricky played on the same Lakeville Baseball Association's Team's together over the years. We are greatly blessed with many great memories over the years.
Please know that our Family is keeping all of you in our hearts, thoughts and prayer's during this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
The O'Brien-Mehl Family

To Rick and Patty and Bryan and sons- so sorry to hear of the tragic loss of your beloved Sara.. I can’t imagine how heartbroken you all are. I can’t believe we just saw her this last summer at Pan o Prof and how excited she was that you were going to be moving there. My deepest sympathy and prayers for your families. A beautiful young woman- she was given her crown early for all the live she shared here. Love to you from MN.

Thinking about all of you and your loss. My memories of Sara when I worked for Rick are of her making sure that she could be around to help with all the parades we did for AGS. Even when she was recovering from a knee injury. What a wonderful young woman she became. Sympathy and love to all of you.

I was blessed to have met Sara at Panera in Grand Haven. I worked there at the time She was in medical school at that time and she would come in every day to study. She sat in the same spot every day from breakfast until about 5 pm just studying. We joked all the time about how she could run the place while she was doing her homework. Fast forward ten years and I needed an emergency surgery and she was available. We had so much fun reconnecting and catching up. She holds a special place in my heart and she saved my life. I am honored to have been part of her beautiful journey.
Dr. Holzgen, Where to start, I started working with her when she started doing her rotation at the Oak Urgent Care while she was in her Residency. I then passed her daily a few years later at Hackley going to work the OB/GYN office. She is so kind hearted, helpful, funny, beautiful, a overall GREAT person and I consider myself BLESSED to have worked with her. I pray for her boys, Husband, and family/friends that GOD keep them strong and carry them through this difficult time. 🙏

I so remember Sara & family from JFK Elementary, in Lakeville. Sara was the same age as my son. Sara was such a smart and happy child, who was looked up to by her classmates and staff at JFK. So sorry for all of your loss - Sara was definitely one-in-a-million!! Hugs and prayers. Patty Streiff
