Mr. Scott A. Caughey's Obituary
Mr. Scott A. Caughey, 59, passed away March 31, 2020 in Lansing. He was born July 30, 1960 to Richard and Barbara (Mattson) Caughey in Muskegon, and lived in Michigan and California in his younger years. Scott was a 27 year veteran of the United States Army and the National Guard, and a member of Oak Crest Church of God. He is survived by his son Travis; 4 siblings: Christi Caughey, Kelly (Ted) Morrell, Lori (Michael Johnson) Caughey, Tracy (Mike) Damm, "Mother" Jackie Caughey. The memorial service for Scott will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 16, 2020 for up to 50 guests at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442. A graveside service with military rites will be held at 2:00 PM, after the memorial service, also on the 16th for up to 100 guests. at Oakwood Cemetery.
