Mr. Scott Robert Gordon's Obituary
Scott Robert Gordon, age 43, passed away November 25, 2017. He was born September 9, 1974 in Muskegon to Robert and Brenda (Dusenberry) Gordon Jr. Scott was employed as a driver and dispatcher for Huizenga Redi-Mix Concrete. He had played baseball all through school and had coached baseball, softball, and basketball for his daughter Shelby, niece Kayla, and nephew Ryan. Scott loved his sports and especially loved the Detroit Lions. He also loved to make everyone laugh and smile and will be deeply missed by his children, Shelby Marie (special friend, Collin) Gordon and Lance Robert Gordon; wife, Bobbie Jo; father, Robert (Debra) Gordon Jr; mother, Brenda (Ted) Delano; sister, Lisa (Scott) Hobby; Grandparents, Robert (Carolyn) Gordon Sr; niece, Kayla; nephews, Ryan, Tyler(Taylor); great niece, Peyton; stepbrother, Rob (Lori) Smith; step sister, Amber (Mike) Carroll; step-niece, Peyton; step-nephews, Patrick, Logan, Michael and Braedyn; parents-in-law, John and Jean Appel; brother-in-law, Johnny (Cindy) Appel ; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved dearly; special childhood friends, Matt Millard, Mickey Starr, Brian Wagbo, and Brian Sibary. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2017 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1206 Whitehall Rd. with Rev. William Uetricht officiating.
