Scott O."Oscar" Johnson's Obituary
Mr. Scott O. “Oscar” Johnson, age 53, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017 at his home. He was born on April 5, 1963 to Fred and Joyce (Ingersoll) Johnson and was a lifelong resident of the Fruitport and Muskegon area. He was a 1981 graduate of Spring Lake High School and worked for 23 years as a machine tech at Autocam. Scott was a member of the Lithuanian Club of Muskegon and was an avid woodworker. He enjoyed building furniture, NASCAR, football, and collecting ducks, but foremost was always the time spent with his children, family and friends. SURVIVORS include his children, Bobbie (Jeremy) King, Richard Johnson, Tara Johnson, Rochell Smith, Hunter Anderson and Taylor Johnson; granddaughter, Karly; his father, Fred Johnson; brothers and sisters, Ron Garrow, Roger (Roxane) Johnson, Karen Garrow, Cheryl (Jorge) Jimenez and Amy (Wesley) Simpson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce and by his step mother, Phyllis Johnson. VISITATION will be held from 5-8PM Monday evening at the funeral home. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100. Burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery in Fruitport.
