Ms. Shannah Marie Swanson's Obituary
Shannah Marie Swanson, age 31, passed away on April 8, 2017. Shannah was born on February 21, 1986 to Robert Swanson and Julie Swanson. Shannah loved life. She graduated from Fruitport High School in 2004 and called Fruitport her home. She enjoyed wrestling, gymnastics, cross-country and cheerleading. Shannah was blessed with 3 children, Holly, Ashley and Ethan. One of the greatest joys in her life was being with her children and family. She also enjoyed laughter, bonfires, traveling and her loving friends. Shannah was a loving, caring, beautiful, tenderhearted person who will be forever missed. She is survived by her 3 children, Holly Huffman, Ashley Kinney and Ethan Frame; mother, Julie Swanson; father and step-mother, Bob and Tracy Swanson; siblings, Mandy (Kurt) Osterhart and their children, Lance and Oakley, Bob (Stephanie Gilmore) Swanson, Tommy Swanson and Josh Addison; step-brother, Michael (Kristen) Vanderstelt; step-sister, Michelle (Mark Beerman) Vanderstelt; grandparents, Russ (Brenda) Swanson, Donna (Jack) Hills, Larry (Sharon) Livingston and Jean (Jim Traxler) Livingston; many cousins, aunts, uncles and a special cousin and best friend, Adrianne Cobb. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11AM at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. VISITATION will be held on Thursday from 4-7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to a college fund set up for Shannah’s children C/O Tracy Swanson.
