Shannon Marie Adcox's Obituary
Shannon Marie Adcox, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children Wednesday, March 16, 2022. She was born April 14, 1953, in Tampa, FL to Franklin and Elizabeth (Estes) Crist and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. On November 18, 1987, she married Scott Adcox; together, they were blessed with two children, Joseph and Joy. Shannon spent most of her years raising her children, doing volunteer work, and helping at the family furniture store. She was active with Western Michigan Teen Challenge and attended Christian Life Center Church for many years. Shannon had a heart full of love and a passion for helping others. Shannon will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
She is survived by her son, Joseph (Ashley) Adcox; daughter, Joy (Hunter) Anderson; 3 grandchildren, Logan, Oaklyn, and Lennox who is on the way; and sister, Kathy Norton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott; her parents; and 3 sisters, Patricia, Denise, and Theresa. A visitation will be held 12:00-1:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 21, 2022, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
