Shannon Lee Johnson's Obituary
Shannon Lee Johnson, age 66, of Grand Haven passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 at Butterworth Hospital from injuries in a previous automobile accident. She was born October 11, 1953, in Grand Haven to James Leonard and Lois Louise (Bryant) Conant, and married Gary Paul Johnson on October 26, 1985, in Grand Haven.
Shannon worked as price coordinator for Spartan Nash Stores. She was a member of Church of God, loved garage sales, gardening, playing scrabble, doing puzzle games, and most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gary Johnson; daughter, Cary (Jacob Huffman) Johnson; three sons: Brandon (Kirsti) Jones, Clinton (Lacey Nelson) Johnson, and John (Michelle) Johnson; six grandchildren: Gage DeCheney, David Huffman, Carter Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Caleb Johnson, and Cory Preston; two brothers, James (Alan Welch) Conant and Jason (Jody) Conant; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Shannon will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Church of God, 14920 Mercury Drive, Grand Haven, MI with Rev. Ron Finger officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at church. Due to the Covid-19 virus there will be limited seating with social distancing for those attending, is limited to a total of 50 family members and guests. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery. Memorials to Hope Lodge or American Breast Cancer Foundation are appreciated.
