Sharon Irene Bush's Obituary
Mrs. Sharon Irene Bush, age 71, passed away Sunday evening, October 18, 2015, surrounded by her family at home. Sharon was born December 26, 1943, in Muskegon to Bernard and Ena L. (Anderson) LaVassuer. She was a Muskegon High School graduate. On December 24, 1961, Sharon married Samuel Lewis Bush, and he preceded her in death in 1994. In 1995 she married Harry Hall, and he passed away in 2009. Sharon was a longtime employee of Meijer and Walmart, retiring in 2007. She was a member of Lakes Community Church where she had taught Sunday school and was a part of the Seniors’ Group. Sharon loved the Detroit Tigers, gardening and cooking. She also enjoyed ceramics and other crafts. Most of all she loved her dogs and grandkids. Sharon is survived by her children, James Lewis (Mary Ellen) Bush of Sanger, TX, Dawn Marie (Herman) Prescott of Ravenna, and Kristi Lynn (Raymond) Gee of Ponte Vedra, FL; 10 grandchildren, Samantha, Jodi, Kassi, Steven, Megan, Collin, Owen, Jennifer, Nicholas, and Kendalyn; 18 great- grandchildren; a sister, JoAnne (Max) Puffer of Muskegon; 5 half-siblings, Randy, Carla, Charlene, Rhonda and Karen; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her step- father, Albert Soethe and half- brother, Loren. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Thursday, October 22, 2015, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100 with Pastor Aaron Gregory officiating. VISITATION will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
