Sharon L. Dornbos' Obituary
Mrs. Sharon L. Dornbos, 76, passed away Saturday morning, September 23, 2023, in Muskegon. She was born October 23, 1946, to Paul E. and Beverly (Smith) Remwolt in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Sharon taught in the Mona Shores Schools district for 32 years as a first-grade teacher where she inspired many. Sharon spent her time out of the classroom boating with her family in the summers, and baking sweet treats for all of her family and friends for every holiday and occasion. Sharon shared a special bond with her family. Their gatherings were filled with laughter, love, and cherished memories that will be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to be part of their close-knit clan. She was a remarkable woman known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Throughout her life, she touched the lives of countless people with her infectious smile and warm heart.
On December 16th, 1967 Sharon married Michael J. Dornbos, and he survives her along with her two sons Todd (Jaime) & Troy (April) Dornbos, 3 grandchildren Taylor, Brock, & Bradon Dornbos, and a host of friends and extended family who will continue to honor her memory.
In accordance to her wishes there will be no services held. While we mourn Sharon's passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the profound impact she had on all of us. Her spirit will live on through the memories we hold dear, the lessons she imparted, and the love she shared.
Sharon L. Dornbos will forever be remembered as a beacon of love, kindness, and generosity. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
