Sharon Ailien Gabris' Obituary
Mrs. Sharon Ailien Gabris, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in Muskegon, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on September 27, 1955 to Peter and Lottie (Kochmanski) Brazzale. Sharon graduated from Muskegon Community College and founded Johara Dancers where she spent many years choreographing and performing before her retirement. She was a dedicated member of the American Legion and was deeply supportive of local veterans’ organizations. Sharon also had a special place in her heart for dogs. She married Alan Lee Gabris in 1996 and he preceded her in death in 2025. Sharon is survived by her sister, Maryjane Smith; niece, Amy Velthouse; nephew, Peter (Kelli) Smith; great-nephew and niece, Nevin and Maisy; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan; parents; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Smith; and nephew, Jason Smith. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
