Sharon K. Klinger's Obituary
Sharon K. Klinger, age 79, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born on March 12, 1941 in Muskegon to Maurice and Lella (Smith) Peterman and resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. Sharon was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church where she belonged to the Noon Bible Study, Quilting Group and Choir. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, crocheting and cross stitch. On November 13, 1959 she married Roger Klinger, and together they celebrated 46 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on July 8, 2005. SURVIVORS include her son, Don (Cindy) Klinger; two granddaughters, Katy (Chris) Valasin, and Lindsey (Ethan) Hassevoort; two great granddaughters, Anberlynn Valasin and Avah Hassevoort; sister, Maureen (Dave) Merritt; and sister-in-law, Betty Meloche. Sharon was also preceded in death by her son, Daniel Klinger on October 5, 2020; along with two brothers, Richard (Char) Meloche and Edward Meloche. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 at Connection Point Church (2270 S. Mill Iron Rd) with Pastor Aaron Gregory officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in Laketon Twp. Cemetery. Share memories with the family online www.sytsemafh.com.
