Sharon A. "Sherri" LaFrance's Obituary
Sharon A. “Sherri” LaFrance, age 65, passed away on January 5, 2018. She was born on January 18, 1952 to Stanley and Patricia (Kamrowski) Hallas in Muskegon. She was a member of St. James Lutheran in Montague. Prior to 2015, she worked and had a passion for teaching children at Head Start and Little Learners Preschool. Sherri enjoyed reading, camping, shopping with her friends, bible classes and girl weekends away. On February 14, 1970, she married Richard J. LaFrance and he survives her with their two children, Nicole (Roy) Koenig and Nathan (Teisha) LaFrance; one grandson, Wolfgang W. Koenig and brother, Bud Locke. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jim Locke. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Sherri will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018 at St. James Lutheran Church in Montague with Pastor Walter Teske officiating.
