Sharon Sue "Marko" Slater's Obituary
Sharon Sue “Marko” Slater, age 73, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. She was born August 21, 1952 in Cheboygan, MI to William and Laurel (Ferguson) LeBaron and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. She was a member of Fellowship Church and had been a longtime member of “The Five Lakers” Group. Marko enjoyed playing cards, going camping and being outdoors in the sun. She especially loved spending time with her family at “the property” for camping and pig roasts. Survivors include 3 children, George LeBaron, Kyann (Austin) Kops, Marvin (Christine Bissell) Slater; 6 grandchildren, Reece (Samantha) Harris, Morgan Harris, Laurel (Chris) Bennett, Deitryck LeBaron, Jason Cloutier, Alexxys Cloud; 3 great grandchildren, Aiden Harris, Archer Harris, Carl Harris; her father, William LeBaron; 2 brothers, Edward LeBaron and Jerry LeBaron. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bobbi Jo Larsen; her mother, Laurel LeBaron; 3 brothers, Richard “Ferg” Ferguson, William LeBaron II, Marvin “Bud” LeBaron; and her sister, Barbara Barnes. A Celebration of Life will take place at Fellowship Church on February 27, 2026 at 4pm.
