Sharon Ann Stephenson's Obituary
Sharon A. Stephenson, age 76, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Muskegon on February 24, 1942 to Victor and Ramona (Kubel) Perreault, Sr. and was a life resident. Sharon graduated high school from Muskegon Catholic Central Class of 1960. She worked as a medical receptionist over 25 years in the office of Dr. Lawrence Lauretti and had currently worked the past 18 years for Norton Family Practice. Sharon was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening and reading, but her family and many friends were the highlight of her life. On May 4, 1963, she married Ronald M. Stephenson in Muskegon and he survives her, along with 2 daughters, Stacy (Len) Phillips of Minocqua, WI, Shawn Stephenson of Norton Shores; 1 grandson, Isaiah Phillips; her special Golden Retriever, “Bella”; 1 sister-in-law, Sandra (Bob) Ciecora; 1 nephew, Brad (Tammy) Perreault and their children, Josh (Alysha) Perreault and Jake (fiancé, Sarah) Perreault; 1 niece, Renee (Pat) McDonald and their children, Matthew (Taina) McDonald and Michelle (John) McGargill; and 2 great-nieces, Mia and Paxton and 1 great-nephew, Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Victor Perreault, Jr. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, August 24, 2018 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. VISITATION will be held 4-7 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100 and 1 hour prior to Mass, 10-11 AM Friday in Marian Chapel at St. Francis Church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation to whom the family is very grateful for the care Sharon received from her nurses and aides during her brief illness.
