Sharon M. Terpening's Obituary
Sharon Mae Terpening, age 75, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Monday, May 25, 2026. She was born in Belgrade, MN, to Marvin and Mable (Vrolson) Lind on July 26, 1950, and graduated from Spring Lake High School. On August 21, 1971, she married Ronald Terpening, and the two of them spent 36 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death in 2007. Sherry enjoyed spending time at home and keeping the house clean and decorated and caring for the flowers in her yard. She was a kind, generous woman who was friendly to all she met. She will be lovingly remembered by her four siblings: Karen Parnell, Sandra (Keith) Rop, Marvin Lind, and Lynae Lind; and many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, as well as her nephew, Travis Lind, and her brother in-law, Charles Parnell. Per Sherry’s wishes no public services are being held, but memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.
