I had the privilege of working for Sharon and Dick Ward, as a babysitter for their 3 daughters. I spent 3 summers babysitting Mon thru Friday and then often a Fruday or Saturday night as Dick and Sharon went to hockey games, movies or played cards with friends. Dick and Sharon were also very busy with East Muskegon Football Club, as were my parents Don and Shirley Carrier.
Sharon and Dick always made the girls the center of their lives; they shared the same family values as my parents and were great role models for what a relationship is and what family means.
Sharon had an awesome laugh, and it delighted Dick when he could get her to laugh.
I am truly sorry for your loss. I know how central she was to your family, but I am deeply grateful for the memories you have of her. Her smile, her laugh, and her deep sense of devotion and caring. My you find strength and comfort in those memories.
