Sharon J. (Gue) Pendock's Obituary
Mrs. Sharon J. (Gue) Pendock, age 57, died after a long illness Saturday, October 22, 2005 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on December 9, 1947 to Floyd & June (Spink) Gue, Sr., and had resided in Muskegon her entire life. Sharon was an Elvis fan, and former member of the Maycroft Square Tappers Parents Association. She also enjoyed arts, crafts, and country and western music. On October 22, 1966 she married her devoted husband and caregiver during her illness, Jim Pendock, and they were together until the end, as she passed away on their 39th anniversary. Survivors also include 2 children, James Richard (Kelly) Pendock, II of Crofton, MD, Brenda-Sue Lynn Hanson of Greenville, MI; 5 grandchildren, Bradley, Jeremy, Curtis, Andrew, Tiffany; mother, June Gue; 7 siblings, Floyd (Rita) Gue, Jr. of Slidell, LA, William (Darlene) Gue, Sr. of Muskegon, Brenda Wright of Greenfield, MA, James Gue, Sr., Louise Gue, Mark (Janice) Gue, and Beth Dempkey all of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Evelyn Pendock; sister-in-law, Sue (Jay) Mihelich and their son Jay; and special cousin, Carol Galindo. Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Kay Pendock; father, Floyd Gue, Sr.; and father-in-law, Delbert Pendock. SERVICES will be 3 PM Thursday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W, Sherman Blvd.231-726-5210 with Rev. Robert J. Conradt officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 6-8 PM Wednesday, and 1 hour prior to the service, from 2-3 PM. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to the family would be appreciated.
